This Bulul or Rice God is a classic example of its type. The seated position with arms crossed is the archetypical stance among Bulul figures. The delineated spine is a nice touch on this example. The wood is hard and the patina is deep and encrusted from generations of use. There is no damage or restoration to this ancient example.
