This is a classic example of an Iban pig stick, better known as a ‘Tun Tun’. The body is finely carved with negative space and fine design on the back of the figure. The face is strong with its prognathic jaw and hands resting on its chin. This example is carved from iron wood with a deep patina from use.

This Tun Tun stands 19.5 inches tall.
