This is a fine example of a Lombok Betel Nut crusher. The figure is wonderfully detailed with an intricate Batik patterned design on the figure’s sarong. The projecting head with open mouth exposing teeth possesses great emotion. Carved from buffalo horn with a beautiful deep patina from handling. The blade is finely done and has an excellent patina as well.

This object stands 8.75 inches tall.
